I recently acquired 2 krag 98's. one has what appears to be a 1901 rear sight and the other has a 1902 rear sight. one serial number is in the mid 300,000s the other is in the 400,000. one stock has a catouche dated 1901 and the other is 1903.
what is the significance in the different type of sites? does one garner more collectors value than the other?
