The 1903 Palma Trophy (eight men shooting 15 shots each at 800, 900, and 1000 yards) held at Wimbledon, England, was technically won by an American team, scoring 15 points more than the British, their nearest competitor. There was some 3rd party protest, because the 12 team rifles had Stevens-Pope barrels and were therefore not military rifles. The Stevens-Pope barrels were externally identical to Krag barrels but were stamped with the maker's name. Issue Krag barrels were unmarked. The Americans returned the trophy, but the Match officials declined to award it to any of the other teams.

My question is "have any of the 12 rifles used by the American team survived in museum or private collections?"
