OK, I get it old color photos.

I thought I was going to see stocks painted different colors. Or worse yet the barreled action painted lie the one i got from Whig (aluminum paint). Do not think badly of Whig it was fully disclosed and part of the reason the cost was low. Used brake fluid to remove the paint and it worked fairly well. I would not do that on wood as it would soak in and might cause problems, cheap and effective on metal with no corrosion concerns.

Actually, the photos are rather interesting.

I like the Engineer, April, 1901 dated photo, with snow and a little bronze cannon with 'Whitworth Hexagonal Rifling'.

(It will make a nice Christmas Card).
