Post by rocky »

Saling my carbine and a buyer told my that they did not make carbine in 75874 serial number, the numbers on stock (79) by butt plate did not match the last numbers of serial number. Is he right, our was he trying to pull one over on my.The research I have done said it was a carbine serial number, I do not know on the stock number.thanks for your help

That number falls solidly in a block of carbines.

They are 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 inches at the middle of the stock by metal butt plate.

Numbers that big sound like either a unit # or more likely a unit assigned rack number, IMO.
