German Pentathlon - circa 1911

Post by butlersrangers »

These young men were obviously training for the 1912 Olympics in Stockholm:

Smoking-Rifle Cleaning, 'Blind' Bayonet Sharpening, Pickelhaube Polishing, Bread Cutting, and Beer Drinking

Life was simpler then!Image

My kind of pentathlon!

When do we begin training?

He 'blinked', due to slow exposure, he is savoring second-hand smoke, or he's 'channeling' with Frederick the Great.
