A Call to Arms or ...

Post by Culpeper »

... Pardon me, but can you help a fellow Krag man who is down on his luck.

(Okay, he is not down on his luck but would like to shoot his rifle)

Gentlemen. Are there any of you Krag fellows in the Maryland, District of Columbia area/region who would be willing to get another Krag man out his office and on to the range? I would do it but there are no gun ranges on the east coast of Africa.

I thought that the out-of-the-way spots you seem to frequent WERE "gun ranges" 24-7.

Don't tell us you're lounging on a veranda, with several cold ones, and being fanned by scantily-clad native honeys!

That would ruin your soldier of fortune persona.

Culpeper- Where are you in the Nazi state? I'm from Ellicott City but don't live there now. Used to catch crabs as a kid in the Severn River. My wife and I go to Ocean City every summer to enjoy the water and eat crabs but I don't do any shooting over there now. Used to shoot with a friend in Frederick who belongs to a few gun clubs but he doesn't go a-Kraggin.

I'm in the gun friendly state of Ohio now. Machine guns, cannons, suppressors are all welcome! (Especially Krags!)

Wouldn't live in MD again for anything.

I thought that looked like you standing on a large rock near the Devil's Den!

Naw. That was me manning a 10 pounder over in the Peach Orchard. They needed to shoot Uncle Dan.

IIRC - That 'Turd' outlived all the other Army of the Potomac Corps Commanders. Makes me want to go visit his leg in Washington!Image

All fun aside, I believe the original question was a serious request.
