I know I've seen some reference to that business but never followed up on it. I'm not a wine drinker/enthusiast, but one of my sons-in-laws is, and also a hobby vintner. He is partner in a very modest operation (no commercial sales) in the Sonoma Valley of CA.
Don't know their genealogy, but they have be cousins of SOME sort, because, AFAIK, there are only two emigrations recorded for that surname - brothers; Thomas to Hartford CT in 1632, and James to Concord MA in 1635. I'm from the James side, as were the several family members who worked at SA, from 1809 to 1923.
