I thought it was my computer, but kept checking back. Glad to see the forum is back in operation.
Went to the range this week with my new 98 Krag. Kept 4 of 5 rounds in a .95" group at 100 yds. Tickled pink! Don't know if I could do it again or not, but will soon find out.
After putting 20 rounds through the Krag, I loaded up the 96 Swedish Mauser. After firing the first round off and trying to cycle the bolt, I thought the rifle was broke. I couldn't believe the force necessary to extract and load the next cartridge! The "butter smooth" action of the Krag has already spoiled me.
