is it true that all Krag rear sight models have the same screw spacing so that one can just swap them without D&Ting ?
Are the screws basically interchangeable or does one have to be careful about type ? modern equivalents available ?
I guess the handguards are all different depending on sight ?
(sorry, lots of questions)
TIA
Eric
rear sight screw spacing same on all models ?
Re: rear sight screw spacing same on all models ?
Eric,
Yes, the holes are all spaced the same so the sights are interchangable. The screws are different lengths on some of them depending on the base. So you need to keep the screws with the proper sights. The handguards are matched to the model of sight.
