The last time I was at the Michigan Historical Museum in Lansing, I photographed a couple of temporary displays.
I forgot about these photos and ran across them on a Memory Card today.
The .45-70 Mills belt and buckle is a rare one from the early 1880's. Neat that it has a provenance of being used by a Michigan soldier in the Philippines.
The model 1896 Krag, Colt 'potato-digger', and Moro weapon would look good in my Den!
(Sorry I didn't take a better shot of the descriptions).
