Krag Rifle and Carbine Histories

Bought a Krag Rifle in 2000, SN 173697 and
in 2002, a carbine SN 223388 from the same dealer.
Anyone have any info on these?

Sorry, but at present, nothing's listed for Model 1898 rifle 173797, or Model 1899 carbine 223388.
