NRA Carbine

I am looking for a Krag rifle in fine shooting condition. I expect that I cannot afford a mint condition antique, but that is not my goal anyway.

I have found, but not seen, what has been described to me as a Krag NRA carbine.

I do not know what the NRA refers to in this case and if it is significant. Can you help? Thanks, Neil

Thanks Martin -- I will just look for a rifle! Too great a risk with a carbine.
