Google searching, I came across a KCA thread from 2019, from before the KCA site was 'updated' and some useful stuff got lost.
I was able to retrieve a picture that I had copied off GunBroker of a real BoO&F rear-sight, that was mounted on a bogus short rifle.
It is a pretty sight!

It is amazing 120 years later that in a 12 day period 3 BoOf rifles--- original would be seen and sell within 40 miles of each other. 2 at the auction in Newport and the one I found at Wilmington,Oh. Only 100 made 120 years ago and 3 that close within days
