To Whom it May Concern,
I came across this, buy-it-now, Krag Cadet scabbard listed on eBay as "USMC 1890 Marines Army Bayonet scabbard sheath Marine Corps US Military".
Great price for anyone interested!

Krag Cadet Scabbard
Re: Krag Cadet Scabbard
The 1890 date makes me think it may have been for the Krag predecessor. Maybe the date is incorrect or the same scabbard fit multiple model rifle bayonets and it will fit a Krag? In any case the price seems reasonable enough.
Re: Krag Cadet Scabbard
Well I guess I should have said "appears to be a cadet scabbard".
Compare with other cadet scabbards listed and you be the judge.

Re: Krag Cadet Scabbard
The scabbard could be perfect, it is just the date that caught my attention. I have no knowledge on the bayonets.

The scabbards are certainly scarce - not sure about rare, but I'd wager you'd see 20+ scabbards, at least, before you ever saw a blade. Similar case withe the trapdoor trowel bayonets: M1869 scabbards yes, blades very tough, while the 73 is just the opposite - blades abound, but scabbards are hard to find.
