Raquel Welch died this past Wednesday. She made a lot of movies interesting, during my prime.
I especially liked her as the 'Kansas City Bomber' and as Constance in the "Three Musketeers".
She was quite a beauty, from the 'Windy City'.

Yes, perhaps not a fantastic actress, but one of THE great beauties of all time - and, while smokin' hot, always a lady.

The late Ms Welch and I are of the same age. That makes me ponder all the vagaries of life. She probably had a lot more fun.

Raquel was in a movie with a bunch of Krags in 1969 called "100 Rifles", but I can't find a picture from this movie with her holding one. But she was the main reason the movie was watched by as many as it did. Here is a photo from that movie.

Re: Passing of an icon
I saw her on several talk shows over the years…always smart, kind, and considerate. I believe her beauty was not just skin deep.
I remember watching her on TV in the Bob Hope USO tour shows. I got to see him, but, alas, never her.
I mourn her passing.
