I usually prefer top water feeders because bottom feeders, like catfish, can taste kind of muddy.

Growing up our family cat Peanuts would bring home koi fish from our neighbors pond…he was not well liked by our neighbor. However, one day our neighbor with the koi pond stopped by the house to inform us that Peanuts had given up the ghost and was found next to his favorite fishing hole...our neighbor's pond.
