Re: Fred's Karma
Br,
Being surrounded by two herds of pigs on your neighbor's place is quite unnerving even if you have a 1917 Enfield with a full magazine and a pistol on your hip with all the chambers loaded with heavy pig loads. Even scarier yet when you look through your scope and it is all fogged up. Its eleven o'clock at night and it maybe a couple of days before someone finds your shoes and your guns if things go badly. Talk about nightmares.

FredC - It's time for some 'switch-on' exterior lighting & more gun ports on the old Trojan Pig, and invites to the "1st KCA Reunion".

Old Soldier's idea of mines sounds better all the time. Remote control detonate them after the cell phone confirmation of the correct animals.
This neighbor has done the Jager Pro traps that remotely drop the gates after cellular confirmation. He has set it up and used it on another property, and this place has ATT cell coverage. I have no idea why he has not moved that trap over here.

Time to call in the heavy hitters!
Fred ... If you build it, we will come ... oh, be sure to include air-conditioning and a beer cooler!

Battle? .... hmm .... I think it's some kind of wild animal orgy.
Maybe a full moon and some fermenting vegetable matter is involved?
Once again, FredC exposes a dark chapter in the "Secret Lives of Animals"!

The scenario that I see as more likely is the coon was climbing up the deer feeder and fell off and landed on the pig. The pig is upset and the nearest animal he can see to take out his anger and surprise is the possum.
My explanation is nowhere near as funny as the other 2.
We replaced a motor on my deer feeder a month ago because something climbed up to the feeder and ripped out the timer battery and wiring of the unit, I had replaced the year before. It would be interesting to see video of how coons and squirrels climb these feeders to tear the up.
