1906 Smorgasbord ....

Post by butlersrangers »

Plowing through online pages, from 1906 weekly editions of "Shooting and Fishing", brought up 'golden nuggets' related to some recent KCA topics:

Milton Farrow, Stevens-Pope .22 target, Pope, Next year's National Match - Krag or 1903 Springfield?, .30-06 metallic fouling problems, neat photos & 'adverts'

When the weather gets ugly .... read old gun magazines ... (I gotta get a life)!

You didn't have your time machine tuned up correctly. While the Krag was a bargain to those of us reading these posts, an even bigger bargain was the "Remington Hepburn .40 cal that cost $100". But paying for either with our Federal Reserve Notes might get you into trouble.
