Kraghaus makes sight rails for Springfield Krag rifles. For the past six weeks its website (www.kraghaus.com) has been out of commission, due to a technical problem. I just want everyone to know the web site is back up and running as of this morning (Sept. 23, 2024), and the company is still selling the rails.
Thank you.

That's good to know! Your rails are really awesome, and provide a great way to mount scopes and sights to sporterized Krags. I have one on my bench-rest Krag and I love it!!!

Is the short rail (not requiring a third hole) adequately strong to handle the shortest, lightest pistol scopes? Something like the Burris 2 x 20, weight 7 oz?

Hi everyone.
As of today (5/15/25) the site is up and running again.
Yes, we have had WAYYYYY to many outages. I have paid good money to "tech" types to fix this, and what I get for it is mostly techno-babble. But I have a new site host, and a new person monitoring the site. So, I'm hopeful.
Chee. The site is about as basic and uncomplicated as a site can be.
NOTICE: We are out of the 6" rail, and my domestic machine shop has decided we are too small a customer to fool with. The local shops want a LOT to machine these, such that the price for a U.S. manufactured rail would be about $90. So I decided to sent the order overseas. Then BAM! Tarriffs. So, untill all that settles down, I am holding off having more 6" rails made.
The 3.25" rails are still in stock.
