cowgillj1 - Is there a bit of a gap in the 'wood fit' of your stock and barrel, where I have drawn a green arrow?

This would indicate the Norwegian barrel has been 'set-back' and re-fitted to the action.
Also, some original Norwegian markings & the serial number on the barrel would disappear, with shortening and re-threading the breech area.

Thanks for all this information…..I ordered one box of the MS rounds that should arrive next week. If the fit and action looks good we will give it a try at the range…..this has to be the solution otherwise who knows what this thing fires. I will post results and next steps.
