Reproduction Tool - S&S Firearms: I was looking at my copy of the 2012 - S&S Firearms Catalog today and noticed it listed a tool on page 27: "K575A M1897 Combination Tool (reproduction).........$30.00". I don't know what they look like or how they were made, but, repros are 'Out There'. (ps. They also list reproduction brass muzzle covers -- $32.00). I have not minded reproduction items in the past when they were clearly known to be reproductions. It's getting to be too confusing and 'some people got no scruples'! It is a jungle out there.

You mean Boxer and Feinstein, right? I think I'll save my postage.

Levin and Stabenow, too!

The Ebay seller that sold me the fake one has another one on now.

Resurrection of an old Thread. Just picked this up on Gunbroker. Seems to be correct, has a weird mottled finish. Was covered in cosmoline like grime and the pivet is very stiff. Any Comments as to its likely authenticity will be appreciated.
