Modlel 1896 Krag Carbine SN 52105

Is this carbine, SN 52105 a "hit", or a "miss" on The SRS lists ?

In Mallory's "Krag Rifle Story" - Index, #52105 is not listed. #52103 is a model 1896 Rifle. In fact, it's all rifles near there.

Yes, that number is WAAY outside the carbine production blocks.

Thanks for your help ! I thought "the 5,000" range was rifles .

Did you mean 50,000, in this context?

The 5000 range absolutely was rifles (Model 1892, though) because no carbines, aside from a handful of test guns, were made until the mid 24,000 range.
