I am trying to find info on one of my fathers guns.. Model 1896 springfield armory not sure what else I need to get an value on this. Any info would be greatly appreciated. If I need more info I have the gun and can try and look. Thanks, tonya

Yes, pictures would tell a great deal, such as if it's been modified or sporterized, which would greatly affect value.
