Wish I had a pocket full of cash today. Cabelas in Dundee, MI had an 1898 that looked pretty good. 42x,xxx range serial, beautiful stock with a beautiful cartouche and proof, 1901 rear sight, beautiful bore with strong rifling, and the finish looked great too! They were asking $1,199 for it.
If I had the money, it would have followed me home!
