Springfield Service Records

Are the Springfield Service Records available to buy either in book form or cd? Also what years are covered in these records? I have seen civil war carbines listed on other sites with the same type information.

Wesley, There is a series of four volumes in paperback book format. They cover military arms issued from roughly Civil War era through WW2. They are in no way a complete record of the serial numbers issued, but you never know if yours might be listed. They are not inexpensive. Look on Amazon or ebay and you will see what I'm saying. I currently have Vol.1 & 3 for sale in the classified section. PM me if interested and maybe we can work out a deal. John
