S.A.W. lapel pins
This is a recent find from a local antique store. I think the top pin is from a veterans group. I think the bottom one is a patriotic support pin. Relics of a bygone era reminding us to "Remember the Maine".

The top one is relatively common and was worn by SAW Veterans, who joined a United Spanish War Veterans chapter.
The second pin is rarer and a product of the fervor that called for avenging the Maine and Liberating Cuba. This would date from before the U.S. invasion of Cuba and the Spanish surrender.
