Quite a price jump at Stokes-Kirk over the years. (The Philadelphia Sporting goods firm was in business from 1878 to 1976).
Post WW1 catalog contrasted with WW2 (when nothing seems available) and a catalogue probably from the 1950's or 60's.
The truth be told, merchants like Stokes-Kirk and Bannerman were never cheap compared to the D.C.M. (now CMP) and the $1.50 Krags of the late 1920's.
