Sort of a Krag - Cummings patents

Sort of a Krag, Sort of a Mauser, and Sort of a Mosin
"Forgotten Weapons" today had a video on a later type of Cummings "Dot" Device, that was in use around 1918. It was mounted on a 'Quasi-Rifle' made from Remington manufactured Mosin parts.
That got me looking at some patent drawings for the Cummings Sub-Target Gun Machine.
The first attachment shows a drawing that appears to be a Krag. The second and third drawings look influenced by the Spanish model 1893 Mauser rifle. The fourth attachment shows the later device on an arm contrived from Mosin parts.
