Back in the days before digital photography... it wasn't uncommon to find an image printed backward. With film, enlargements/printing should be emulsion to emulsion, but it's not hard to have the negative inverted in the low light environment of a dark room. Now-a-days, all you have to do is click on the invert button in photoshop!
