I have a chance to buy my deceased godfather's Krag.
His son will let me buy it, but I must determine a fair price.
US Military, rifle length,
fully nickel plated.
was used for years in the local VFW Honor Guard.
was used before that to fire salutes using blanks supplied by the government.
Now how old does that make it ??? !!!!!!!
shows some wear but no cracks or peeling nickel.
