Krags In The Movies

New Krag owner/shooter checking in. Having great fun with my "new" '98 Krag (S/N 325030), pushing 200 gr. True Line lead bullets over 18 gr. of Alliant powder.

Was wondering if anyone know how many motion pictures have featured Krags? Obviously HBO's "The Rough Riders", and I'm guessing both "The Wind and the Lion" and "55 Days at Peking", but don't know for sure. Both of the latter featured US Marines of the era. Any others?

In "55 Days at Peking" the "U.S. Marines" were armed with long Lee-Enfields. Great movie otherwise.

What about ' 100 Rifles' With Jim Brown and Raquel Welch ? :o Haven't seen the movie in awhile but, I believe they were Krags........Norm. :)
