Observations from Ohio Gun Collectors Show

March 13-14, 2004 Ohio Gun Collectors Association show saw three rare Krag Bayonets change hands.
1 Krag 1900 dated Bowie Bayonet w/scabbard about 95% condition sold for $2600.
1 Krag 1900 dated Bowie Bayonet w/scabbard about 92% condition sold for $2600.
1 Krag 1902 dated Bolo Bayonet w/scabbard about 96-97% condition sold for $15,000.
Saw for sale;
1 Model 1892 Rifle 40% condition and 3 digit serial number w/solid front barrel band, weak but readable "SWP 1894" cartouche for $9,000.
1 Model 1898 Rifle 399 thousand serial range w/ 1902 cartouche, 1901 Rear Sight and in 87-90% condition for $1,800.
1 Model 1892/96/98 converted Rifle, serial range of 49 hundred, in about 40% condition for $800.
