I'm looking at a 1898 carbine that is real and in the right ser. no, range. The stock has me wondering though. No cartouche or P mark. It has a couple inspector marks inside the cut-out. It has a rear sling guide though. The front has the proper band and spring that are correct. If it was cut down it is absolutely a Arsenal product I believe, it is perfect.
Any comments?
