A gentleman on the 'Gunboards Forum' posted about "a snafu", he has made, with an online auction purchase.
He didn't notice, until after paying, that the model 1894 Norwegian Krag he purchased was put into a Model 1898 U.S. stock.
(It rather makes you appreciate the elegance of the U.S. stock)!
The rifle may look kind of nice, but, it is a mighty expensive "Frankenkrag".
(I didn't know this stock fit was even possible).
Some nice looking parts. Way over-priced!
I hope the buyer is able to resolve this mess.

Rifle is back up for sale, higher starting bid but lower buy now price than the original sale.
Appears the buyer followed through with his determination to back out.
