Bruce Canfield references "2737" and "3029" in 1895 correspondence as being returned to SA from D Company, Ft Douglas, UT for defective cocking pieces due to soft steel. Man at Arms Mag, Oct 1998. "3029" has been located. It would be cool to locate "2737"
