I'm updating the M1898 carbine list since it looks like a new poster has lucked into an authentic one. If this assessment changes, I'll correct it. Also, I found a posting by a KCA owner from the UK who has a correct M1898 Krag carbine and added him to this prestigious list. If I have missed anyone, please chime in!

Pictures of my M1898 SRC are attached. Serial number is 134317. It is a well used example, but I think it is an original, un-molested M1898 Saddle Ring Carbine. The stock has a 1898 cartouche and a M1896 C marked rear sight. I will be listing it in the Classified Section soon.
