Here is a break down of the data in my WW1 Ohio soldiers, sailors and marines spreadsheet.
There are 9803 men and women in the sheet to date.
101 KIA
472 WIA
28 WIA 2
1 WIA 3
33 DW
153 Died
4 POW
5 Gassed
Five of the KIAs had been wounded earlier
Four of the WIAs later died from disease.
WIA2 and WIA3 are men who were wounded a second and third time of the listed 472 WIA men.
DW is Died from Wounds
I am still breaking down the the Died list but so far pneumonia is the majority killer and not influenza.
This is a partial list from the 263,000 entries. It takes time to convert from paper to digital.

Interesting list! Thanks.
Today, all of these deaths would be "attributed" to Covid-19.

Yeah. Especially the ship sinkings and the train accidents. ::)
