Photo of the Lang Bajonett M/1916, (long bayonet model 1916), intended for the Karabin model 1912.

Haunting training photo, circa 1935, of Norwegian Soldiers advancing through a smokescreen and armed with model 1912 carbines.

Ah, interesting! I am searching for one for sale, but it seems I may need to wait a little bit for the right one!

Oh No! The famous "gray blanket".

(Item is likely to go for top dollar in the last moments of the auction).

Yes, I to have heard the Sirens of Eisel sing their song and crashed upon the rocky shores of Gray Blanket island

Such as with this Stormy Kromer meets Krag Chromer rifle I won that was offered, at auction, by the 'Gary Blanket' folks.Image

'Local Boy' - What I was referring to was the vendor.

He has fantastic pieces, with lengthy ebay descriptions, always displayed on that gray blanket.

Other collectors have noticed a pattern in how his auctions always seem to go. There are suspicions of manipulation of the bidding.

Yep, I have my suspicions but I bids what I bids.

I too enjoy the lengthy descriptions and have learned much about items of interest.

For me personally... I have received nothing but excellent service from them. Great communication, packaging and speedy delivery.

Sounds like a FEEDBACK response doesn't it.

I am glad, he has been reputable for you. Thanks for sharing your experience.

I have no direct experience with this vendor. He often is selling really amazing items.

Any gun forum rumors could just be envy and sour grapes. I probably should not have said anything.

(FWIW - I don't care much for auctions and prefer 'Buy Now' prices. I don't like 'feeding frenzy').
