OK for speed. How was the group? Did it shoot to the sights? Did it lead?

i've been shooting it for about 4 - 5 years. i and my son have shot deer with it. the furthest he has shot was 173 yards. mostly they are killed at 50 yards and less. i took off the rear sight and i put a redfield 102k no drill peep sight. it goes 1 1/2 - 2" at 100 yards(bench/5 shots). i did a 3/4" at 100 yards(bench/5 shots) and numerous 1 1/4" groups. but the gods and constellations and cow ran away with the spoon makes it not count!!!! :D i've done ( i think) about 1000 rounds of 165gr ranch dog and they do not lead. my barrel is as clean as a baby's bottom. for 4 or 5 years now, my barrel has not been cleaned.

Plenty of oomph and accuracy for short range deer. I was getting 2009fps with 25.7gr of 4198 (SPP210) under an Eagan 168 with my K31. Super accuracte load!

i like it!!! deer hate it!!!! i have shot a doe 140+/- yards but mostly at 50 yards and less. the boolit was made from 10 lead: 1 tin(about 11-12 bhn). i thought that its velocity was around 1800fps, but its 100fps faster. the rifle barely "kicks" , which is good from a stroke(right arm/leg) guy ;D ;D!!!
