Question about sporterized.
Were any Krags manufactured with the stock cut down and no upper hand-guard? Sporterized style.

Photos of your Krag pique interest and bring better feed-back.

Nothing a CMP barrel, repro forearm, handguard, and upper band won't fix.

Re: Question about sporterized.
Is that barrel full length? Measure with a cleaning rod from the muzzle to the closed bolt face. Anything less than 30 inches is a cutdown unless it's 22 inches and marked Model 1899. If the barrel is unmodified or cut, then all you'd need is the upper band, handguard and a new forend for the stock!
