So, here is one of my newest, and coolest sporter Krags. I think it is pretty amazing!! A benchrest Krag made with a Gatling gun barrel. Pretty heavy.
I love it and thought you guys might like to take a look.
Best,
Tom

Some details about the Gatling gun barrel, please? Bore & groove, twist? Length & weight? Made by Colt? What did you do to the breech to make it fit?
Re: Benchrest Krag
I have it locked in my gun room. I will try to get it out this weekend to take some measurements and weigh the thing. I didn't do the work so I don't know all the specifics about how it was put together.

Tom... perhaps I missed it before, but what is she chambered for? Is it still .30 USA (30-40)?
Re: Benchrest Krag
Yes, it is in 30-40. Using a Gatling gun barrel. The barrel is 30" long. The whole gun is 49.5 inches. It weighs a mere 14.5 pounds.
Probably won't be my "brush gun" next deer season.
