The blade it's self measures .383" but from the bottom of the "channel" to the top of the blade is .409".

I'll be reloading as soon as I pick up a neck sizing die. I have a full length die set from CH but haven't snagged their Standard Bushing Neck Sizer yet.


Welcome to the forum, and to the wonderful world of Krags. Beware... they are highly addictive!

You can always neck-size Krag brass with a full length die by simply backing the die out a half turn or so. The .30 US brass is slightly tapered, so this will allow you to size all but an 1/8 inch of the neck. This will get you by until you can get a Neck Sizer. That's how I do it anyway...
