after i get get done with my son's 93 mauser(i have to save up for douglas barrel in 7x57 mauser), then i think i'll go to the 9.3 krag (36 krag). i have 9.3x57 hornady dies (husqvarna m46) and i already did a 30-40 krag case to a 9.3/30-40 krag case. i'll either rebore it or i'll take 9.3 douglas barrel and chamber it to 9.3 krag.( i, in that case, is my gunsmith or JES Reboring ) i have a bunch(400+ pcs) of .368" 280gr rn gc. i'll hollow point the rn using my forster case trimmer and hollow pointer kits.butlersrangers wrote: ↑Tue Nov 10, 2020 6:52 pm 'Todd' - I think your Krag will cleanup just as well.
Mine looked pretty 'ratty' and the guys at the gun-shop were surprised that I bought it.
Reproduction fore-stock arrived today from 'Numrich Gun Parts'.
At $46, shipped, its not too bad. It took about 45 minutes of careful File Work to fit 'nose-cap'.
