O' my surprise ... there are no supplies.

I didn't make plans ... when given a chance.

Empty shelf on the wall ... no primers, powder or ball.

Oh, send me some Rounds ... please, send me some Rounds.

Read in one of his recent post he has buried supplies he is thinking about trying to cash in with the new exorbitant prices. So he may actually be in pretty good shape. I understand you actually can go against the grain and buy low and sell high on Wall street and make money. Not sure if Culpeper has enough buried to do that.
Been doing that with groceries, been buying a smidgen more than we need for months. Heard about a friend in need a couple of weeks ago and took him a box of stuff and still have enough to weather temporary shortages.

All said the limeric was funny anyway, my father was good at writing those things, I am not.

A partial from my dad concerned:
A honey bee saying to a big bumbling bumble bee,
"is it better to bee or not to bee?"
The big bumbling bumble bee replied,
"Better to be a bee than a BB".

Limerick? I don't know about that stuff.

My wife had music playing, yesterday. A song, that I hate, came on and got stuck in my head.

'Send me some Rounds' sounded like a better lyric, than a shipment of 'Clowns'.

I like satire and parody.
Ammunition was more relevant to me and brought to mind Culpeper's urging .

Being an old time Boy Scout and having internalized 'Be Prepared',
I'm good on food, tools, guns, ammo, reloading supplies, and storage space.

Also, to me, prudence is a matter of degree. Panic buying and hoarding is part of the problem.
I also treasure the principle of 'use it or lose it'.

Amen! (I suspect it's the whole problem.)

Just to remind visitors, here are couple of things keep in mind.

Buying any thing, toilet paper, ammo, lace doilies, over a period of years is not hoarding. It is planning for bad times.

Buying at the leading edge of some catastrophy and plan to resell at a profit like that guy last year with the hand sanitizer is called profitteering.

Buying some thing you don't need is hoarding.
