Hi Paul,

Take care of the family first. Our Krags have been here a long time And they can wait.

Several of my friends have watched me use your chargers and wanted to order them. I have been telling then to wait. I am happy to cover your 6 by sharing my chargers with friends on the range when needed. I alway give you full credit! The darn things sell themselves.

Missed Camp Perry this year and next year doesnt look good either.

All the best in the new year. We will surely meet on the firing line before you know it.

Thank you so much Jeff! We definitely missed you this year... and I sure do hope we don't have to miss you next year! You are a great guy to shoot with, and I know we'll sling some lead soon enough!!!

Was looking for information on Krag chargers and found this string along with an earlier one with a picture of three chargers. Is anyone still making these or have the dimensional drawings so I can try to get some fabricated? Alternately have a source of K31 chargers?

Thanks
Airborne,
Mark

K31 chargers aren't wide enough at the back for the 30-40 rim, you'd be better off to sell them if you don't have a Swiss rifle to go with them. I have some brass sheet that is going to become Krag chargers one day. I even have a pattern and forming block, but I don't get around to much of anything anymore.

Is the pattern and dimensions of the forming block available for someone to make their own?

You might talk to Parashooter, I think he is the one that made the drawings and originals that Paul used. Bending metal is not my thing and if I remember right there were no lathe or milled parts involved.
So ask, Paul and Parashooter, I think they would be glad if someone took up making the chargers up again.

Yes. (The wooden mandrel is handy for mass production but not really necessary if only making a few.)
