Krag refurbishment markings

On a sporterized Krag stock I own I have an odd marking, after reading The American Krag Rifle and Carbine by Joe poyer I decided to check out markings on my Krags and cross reference them with information in the book,
On this particular sporter stock the work in shortening the forend was exceptional and the filler and forend blended perfectly with the stock.
It has a 1903 JSA cartouche and then oddly a HH and a flaming bomb cartouche, now I know these were not on the rifle as manufactured in 1903, but possibly a refurbishment marking later in its life. As these markings seem to be out of the Krag years of refurbishment, and HH appears on several other Krags, could these be refurbishment markings of Krags refurbished for the engineers in WW1? Just a guess, but I also would be interested in seeing any markings on your Krags and information on the meaning of them. Maybe we could make this thread an index of Krag refurbishment markings and the known meaning of them, mainly to satisfy my curiosity and others, Thanks!
Just for reference this is a model 1898 manufactured in 1903 with a 1901 rifle sight and then shortened to 22 inches with a 1903 band sight installed, and a pacific peep installed later in life.

Zac952 - I 'bumped' and added to a thread, started in 2013, in "Older Threads" regarding "H.H." stamp.
