Is this the team that used rifles fitted with Pope barrels?

No, IIRC, the 'disqualified' results, because of non-issue Pope barrels, happened to the 1903 American Palma team.
This was after the 1903 Palma match, fired at Bisley, England.

The Palma Match was not held again until the 1907 match at Radcliffe, Ontario.
I believe some of the U.S. Shooters were members of both the 1903 and 1907 teams.
