Of course, you will have to use maple leaves that have died from natural causes. You can replenish your stock every fall and have several colors. But they age and dry out, and get crumbly. But have no fear. Someone will brew up a preservative to make those maple leaves soft and pliable year round. The preservative will come from somewhere cold, because the inventors must first know about the problem. The preservative will probably have a petroleum base and come from a factory heated with oil, but no matter, you will have saved trees and taken those leaves off the street.

And how will you warm your house below the bridge when it is incorrect to use oil or gas or trees? I guess you can burn used maple leaves.

I reckon the obvious alternative is installing a Biden Bidet.
