I suppose a lot of people are bent on 'Making Life a Train Wreck' .... but he had his hand on the throttle!

There are a lot of delusional people with their "hand upon the throttle" goin down a 3 mile grade. The problem is there's a wooden trestle bridge with a sharp turn at the bottom of that grade.

Back to steam locomotives again. Many years ago there was going to be a steam locomotive come by when I lived in Seguin. We got to the tracks about fifteen minutes early to be sure we would see it. There were a lot of us waiting. Apparently we were 30 minutes late. Not many cars behind the engine so they made real good time and beat us to the overpass. There were a lot of disappointed people waiting there.
