Just saw on the news that San Antonio College ditched the Texas Rangers as their mascot and adopted the armadillo. What!!! The Texas Rangers have a checkered past with some dark spots with bright good things mixed in. Lately they are a premier investigating department. My wife worked for one. One of his last acts before he retired was digging up the evidence that led to a conviction of a rape and murder from the late fifties. He did a couple things for the family. A phone call to a auto dealer having trouble getting us a title to the car we had paid for got things moving very quickly. Anyway SAC now has a mascot that is an imported pest with perverted sexual tendencies, carries horrific disease, digs up gardens, and fouls crops. I have not mentioned their burrows become hide outs for snattlerakes have I?
